Meriza DeGuzman (previously Meriza Goncalves) is Filipina. She moved to California with her family as the oldest of 4 brothers and sisters. She has a strong competitive background in gymnastics and cheerleading. She earned her nursing degree through the military. Got got into her current fitness lifestyle after having a baby and gaining some weight.
