Jillian Michaels
Jillian Michaels is one of the trainers from the TV show The Biggest Loser. She’s more than a personal trainer though, she is an acclaimed motivator, celebrity, and fitness product guru. Her new book Master Your Metabolism is sitting on my desk right now. It’s almost 300 pages long, and chock full of little tips and tricks to help with a fitness oriented metabolism. She’s obviously qualifies as an expert!
Jillian was supposedly chunky as a teenager and saved herself from a flabby fate by signing up for some martial arts lessons and becoming much more active. In addition to that busy Hollywood lifestyle, Jillian is also a spokesperson for the American Cancer Society. If you or your loved ones haven’t been touched by the Big C, consider yourself lucky. It’s pretty cool that Jillian is a) hot, b) famous, c) charitable.
Allison Moyer Update
After a number of requests, we wanted to take another look at Allison Moyer. Ali is still training like a madwoman. Her knees have been hurting her lately, which is may be from abuse and overuse. She is dating someone, and seems to really be enjoying her life. She celebrated her 25th birthday April 22 by buying Lacuna Coil’s newest album and rocking out.
Courtney Bynog
Courtney Bynog is 35 years old and lives in Lousiana where she helps breed quarter horses. She is 5’6″ and a very solid 135 lbs. Back in 1993, Courtney placed 2nd in her High School’s state powerlifting competition. She is a wife and mother, so her time is limited – she knows how to get the most benefit out of her workouts. Her back is amazing.
Sherri Gray
37 year old Sherri Gray has only been weightlifting for two years, even though she looks very muscular. She is 5’4″ tall and weighs 128 lbs. She is very athletic, and has always been involved in fitness activities. She aspires to be one of the American Gladiators contestants. Sherri lives, trains, and competes in North Carolina.
Romi Bean
Romi Bean is a cheerleader for the Denver Broncos. NFL cheerleaders are known for being paid very little and occasionally attracting more attention than the football players themselves. That attention is well-deserved in the case of Ms. Bean. She is a student at the University of Colorado Majoring in Business. She loves dance, and of course has been into cheerleading forever. She wants to go into broadcasting. She has some Greek heritage, and it shows up in her exotic looks.
Allison Stokke
Pole Vaulter Allison Stokke is pretty much perfect for FitBabesBlog. Unlike some of the paper-tiger champions of women’s tennis who are more grunt and glam than talent or success, Allison kicks ass at her sport. More importantly than that for us and our readers, she gorgeous and has a hot, athletic body. She is 5’7″ but can swing up on that pole of hers high enough to top, hmm what’s she up to now like 13 feet? She set some records in 2004 but broke her (perfect) leg in 2005. I think she is currently on the track and field team at University of California Berkeley.
Jennie Finch
It’s easy to think of female softball players in generic, rule-of-thumb terms as… well, uh, not babes. Little did we know, Jennie Finch would come around and break the mold. Break may be too soft a term. Let’s call it obliterate. She was born in 1980 and pitched in the 2004 Olympic Games where the US team won the Silver medal. She returned in the 2008 Games and won a Silver. She started out at the University of Arizona, and drew some serious attention when she posed for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 2005 and 2006. She’s been known to throw the equivalent of a 100mph fastball. I can’t even see it – I’m usually too busy looking at her legs.
Fitness News Update 1
Created a new Fitness News page and updated it with a few articles I found interesting. I know, I know. You are here for the babes. But if you’re like me, you like just about anything associated with fitness, bodybuilding, nutrition, and fit babes. Did I mentions chicks in sports bras, personal trainers with curly blonde hair and awesome smelling perfume? Don’t want to leave a certain person out!
Felicia Remero
Felicia Romero has been on the cover of two magazines already this year. She is an IFBB Pro Figure competitor, and an increasingly hot commodity. She was born and still lives in Arizona. At a height of 5’3″, she competes at around 112 lbs. She graduated from Arizona State University with a BA in Poly Sci. She stays busy with her “hobbies” of selling real estate and running her personal training company. Felicia won 1st place in the Jan Tana Classic Pro Figure contest in 2007.
