It’s easy to think of female softball players in generic, rule-of-thumb terms as… well, uh, not babes. Little did we know, Jennie Finch would come around and break the mold. Break may be too soft a term. Let’s call it obliterate. She was born in 1980 and pitched in the 2004 Olympic Games where the US team won the Silver medal. She returned in the 2008 Games and won a Silver. She started out at the University of Arizona, and drew some serious attention when she posed for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 2005 and 2006. She’s been known to throw the equivalent of a 100mph fastball. I can’t even see it – I’m usually too busy looking at her legs.
